- Student Identifying Information: Student ID number, full name, institutional email address, academic department, and enrollment status.
- Financial Data: Billing address, bank account details (for ACH/eCheck), and truncated credit/debit card details. We do not store full CVV codes.
- Payer Information: If a parent, guardian, or sponsor is making a payment on the student's behalf, we collect their authorized contact and billing details.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data is utilized strictly for educational and financial administration:
- To process tuition, housing, meal plans, and auxiliary fee payments securely.
- To synchronize payment statuses in real-time with your institution's Student Information System (SIS).
- To issue receipts, payment reminders, and administrative notices to your student email.
- To verify identity and protect student accounts against unauthorized access or fraud.
3. Data Sharing & Educational Privacy Laws
We respect strict student privacy regulations, including FERPA (Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act) in the US and equivalent global standards. We share your information exclusively with:
- Your specific educational institution and its authorized administrative staff.
- Secure acquiring banks and payment networks required to clear the transaction.
We absolutely do not sell, rent, or trade student personal or financial data to third-party marketers or data brokers.
4. Data Security & Retention
All student financial data is encrypted in transit and at rest using industry-standard TLS protocols. Our systems are fully PCI-DSS compliant. We retain transaction data only for the duration legally mandated for institutional accounting, tax auditing, and anti-fraud purposes, after which it is securely and permanently destroyed.
